Back On Track At Tullyroan Oval This Saturday

Short oval racing bursts back into life at Tullyroan Oval this Saturday night as five action-packed formulas hit the track following the summer break. Fans can look forward to a fast-paced evening featuring 2.0 Hot Rods, Lightning Rods, Superstox, Thunder Rods, and Junior Productions.

In the 2.0 Hot Rods, recently crowned World Champion Adam Hylands leads the Hoosier Challenge Series into Round 2, chased by Irish Champion Jordan Rochford and top challengers James McKinney and Ally Neill. Last weekend’s British Championship winner Callum Doak will be another top contender

The Lightning Rods contest the prestigious Tullyroan Challenge Cup, with defending champion Nigel Jackson aiming for an eighth victory, while other champions chasing the win will be Mark Corry and Ross Houston.

Freshly crowned European Champion Steven Haugh heads the Superstox entry, joined by rapid runners Jordan McCann, Dean Catherwood, and double-title holder Jordan Robinson.

The Thunder Rods make a rare appearance at Tullyroan, bringing big grids and close racing. Irish Champion James Goldie, plus form men Liam Wilson and Adam McKinney, are expected to shine.

In the Junior Productions, rising stars aged 10–16 battle it out, led by National and British Champion Leyton Hughes and a strong chasing pack including Casey Cherry, Jack Morrison, Caolan Fegan, Charlie Johnston and Ryan Berry.

A full night of close competitive action lies in store, with the first green flag at 6.30pm.
